Who We Are

FISLA brings together people and institutions working in sports law to share knowledge, build professional relationships, and address the legal questions that shape sport. Our community connects legal professionals, academics, researchers, arbitrators, sports administrators, athletes, and students across countries and legal systems.

Our work starts from a practical understanding: legal decisions affect how sport is governed, how disputes are resolved, and how people’s rights are protected. Contracts, disciplinary procedures, commercial relationships, and the use of technology all have consequences for those involved. We believe a sound understanding of these issues helps sporting institutions make better decisions and fulfil their responsibilities.
